A group of Latino community leaders is criticizing Cal State San Bernardino for the lack of Latino faculty and students in the education doctorate program. The Latino Community Leadership Committee -- made up of university faculty, education and political leaders, including Rep. Joe Baca, D-Rialto -- formed about a year ago to address this issue. Committee members are concerned that only one of about 50 faculty members and five of 24 students in the education doctorate program are Latino. They also want to ensure the curriculum addresses the Latino and immigrant populations in Inland schools. READ FULL STORY
