It's tough enough running your own business these days, but Arlene Zuniga-Valdez has more than just the economy to face.
Being a successful woman in business, a Latina in the pest control industry no less, was not always easy for Zuniga-Valdez. Neither was it her first choice.
"The business was new to me and I had to learn the trade," said the 36-year-old chief executive officer of A Cal Pest Control Services Inc. in El Monte.
