"Citizens for Castillo" will be hosting a no-limit Texas hold-em fundraiser for Thomas Castillo's historic journey to Springfield. First prize will be a $1,100 seat to the Prestigious Heartland Poker Tour to be held at Gary, Indiana's Majestic Star Casino in which you can go on to win a guaranteed prize of $290,000! Second through fifth will win seats to Heartland satellite tournaments valued at $340 each, in which the top 30% of player's left will advance to the Heartland main event. Sixth through eighth will win a prize TBA valued at no less than $100 dollars.With your entry, you will also receive one raffle ticket and will include pizza, pop, and coffee, so come hungry and thirsty! The prizes for the raffle will be two - $100 gift cards TBA and three $25 gas cards. Entry fee to this event will be $85. There will be one re-buy per player allowed when they have less than 1500 chips until 7:30 PM. Your re-buy will get you an additional 3500 chips and one additional raffle ticket.The above information is based on attendance of 150 people. For every 20 additional players and/or re-buys, one $340 heartland satellite seat will be added. If 3 additional heartland satellite seat are added, they will be combined to one Heartland main event seat and one $100 gift card for the raffle. There will be a cash bar. Doors open at 4:45 PM. We will start promptly at 6 PM. Remember, this is a fundraiser so please behave appropriately. For campaign reporting purposes, all those in attendance must bring an I.D.Tickets may be purchased online at Tom4Gov.org. There is a 300 person capacity at the hall and we already have a commitment from 100 people, so be sure to buy your ticket early to ensure you will be able to attend this fun filled night and get an additional 500 chips! Free embroiderd hat with the next 50 tickets sold ($25 value)! Don't forget to continue the change here in Illinois and vote on February 2, 2010. Invite your friends as the more we have, the more prizes that will be awarded!
