The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that a study found the rate of teen pregnancy increased three percent from 2005 to 2006. This is the largest jump in teen pregnancy since 1990. That surge, however, was seen strictly among older teens between the ages of 15 and 19 years old. Birth rates for younger girls, ages 10 to 14, had a slight decline Among older teens, Latino and Black girls respectively were the most likely to become young mothers, according to this graph from the CDC.
