Hispanic-serving institutions like the University of Houston are looking for answers as they try to figure out how to attract students to science, technology, engineering and math fields -- and how to best support them in those studies.

Hispanic students are underrepresented in STEM education despite their growing population in Texas and the United States, and these fields have an "intense demand" for skilled workers, UH said in a press release. READ MORE AT HOUSTON CHRON
