Ohio Latino Fest, Cleveland Ohio


As part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, on Saturday, October 2nd the first annual Ohio Latino Fest will kick off at Nautica Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio at 12 noon. This year we will bring salsa’s greatest salsa performer, Gilberto Santa Rosa direct from Puerto Rico. We expect between 8,000 to 10,000 Latinos from across the State of Ohio. Latino Fest is a two-part festival. The first part will be a free event open to the public in a festival setting with food, artwork, local artists, family activities, and many fun things for your family to enjoy.

The second part is a paid event featuring Gilberto Santa Rosa from Puerto Rico In addition to Gilberto Santa Rosa; we will have a performance of mariachi music and much more. This event will kick off at 7 p.m. and go until 12 midnight. This concert expects 5,000 to 6,000 in attendance.This will be an opportunity for Ohioans to see the wonderful Latino talent that exists throughout Ohio. Enjoy artwork, Latino crafts, music, food, and information about Latino organizations.

One of the local musical artists will be 12-year-old Karen Labra, who recently was recognized by Don Francisco with Sabado Gigante for being the youngest female mariachi singer to perform on his show. Karen is from Youngstown, Ohio and will be featured at the Ohio Latino Fest. There will be many more local Latino artists performing at Latino Fest. READ MORE
