About me
Angela Estrella Mejía is a published multimedia artist, writer and photographer, born and raised in Chicago. Her love for photography and the arts stemmed from the city's vibrant culture and diverse neighborhoods; From the architecture, public transportation, and variety in people, art, food and music, the inspiration became endless, and in 2010 she launched AngieStar Studios. From that point on she’s exhibited work in galleries around the city, has been published and featured in both print and online media, and continually shoots an array of work around the country. Her unique perspective and artistic flare truly sets her apart from others. What started as a passion to illuminate culture and inner city life turned into a career that continues to flourish today.
