Municipal Bond Trading Desk - Operations Associate and Trading Assistant
Executed, confirmed and ensured settlement of all municipal bond trades. Monitored and resolved breaks with custodians and brokers, maintaining great relationships with them, and proactively analyzed processes and procedures to improve operations.
Ensured all positions were accurate at the end of each day by maintaining an intricate communication with traders.
Managed SEC and MSRB reporting and compliance with strict integrity and accuracy.
Spearheaded the implementation and training of the Bloomberg Trade Order Management System (TOMS) for the municipal and taxable desks improving operational efficiencies, workflow processes and accuracy of trade execution.
