Hispanic Heritage Month Banquet October 9, 2008 – Chicago, Illinois Please join us for the third annual Hispanic Heritage Month Banquet, October 9, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be hosted by the Hispanic Leadership Fund and the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Cook County. Keynote speaker, and winner of this year’s Ronald Reagan award is Linda Chavez. Ms. Chavez is chairman of the Center for Equal Opportunity, a non-profit public policy research organization. She also writes a weekly syndicated column that appears in newspapers across the country and is a political analyst for FOX News Channel. Chavez has authored a number of books including Out of the Barrio: Toward a New Politics of Hispanic Assimilation, and An Unlikely Conservative: The Transformation of an Ex-Liberal.
