Mikey O Comedy Productions in partnership with 9 Chicago-area non-profit organizations for a night of networking, music and comedy at the 7th Annual Holiday Giggle. The Holiday Giggle is Chicago producer Mikey O’s annual event which raises money for programs and services offered by the partnering organizations. The event sponsored by American Family Insurance will take place at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Joe’s Bar, 940 W. Weed Street, Chicago, Illinois. Admission is a $20 donation, open to the public and 100% of ticket sales benefit the organizations. The celebration, all under one roof and spread out over the venue’s 11,000+ sq. ft., will include speed dating, trivia, complimentary chair massages, a stellar comedy show and a guest musical performance.The non-profit organizations in partnership this year are La Esperanza-Honduras, BUILD, Inc., Youth Guidance, Off The Street Club, Gordon Tech H.S. Parents Club, Youth Crossroads, ACE Technical Charter H.S., Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse and the Melrose Park Sports & Family Benefit Fund.The line-up of comedians includes Joey Villagomez, Ryan Budds, Jim Flannigan, Patrick Chase, Juliana Forlano, Marci Deloney and Mike Von. Chicago comedians Bill Cruz and Ken Garr headline the performances. Musical guest Fandanguero performs the sounds of Mexican Son-Jarocho on both traditional acoustic instruments and non-traditional instruments creating a fusion of Cuban Son, Samba, Mambo, Flamenco, and other Latin rhythms.7:30 pm - Comedy show9 pm - Fandanguero

We welcome the posting of all events to Hispanicpro.com as long as it pertains to our website visitors and newsletter recipients. Only events that get deleted are the ones that have exclusive "marketing" arrangements with other online media outlets.
