Mikey O Comedy Productions in collaboration with 13 Chicago-area non-profit organizations celebrates the holidays with a night of networking, comedy and music at the 8th Annual Holiday Giggle. The Holiday Giggle raises money for the numerous programs and services offered by the partnering organizations. This event will take place starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Joe’s Bar, 940 West Weed Street, Chicago. Admission is a $20 donation, open to the public and 100% of proceeds benefit the organizations.The 8th Annual Holiday Giggle celebration will include speed dating by MyLuvQuest, free salsa lessons, a stellar comedy show and live music by Caribica, all under one roof and spread out over the venue’s 11,000 sq. ft.The non-profit organizations in partnership this year are BUILD, Inc., Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse, St. Augustine College, Driven & Empowered Youth, Inc., Off the Street Club, Youth Guidance, The Cradle, En Las Tablas Performing Arts, Golder College Prep, Youth Crossroads, Inc., Chicago Gems Women’s Baseball, ACI College Success Network and CITY YEAR CHICAGO. These organizations offer a myriad of comprehensive programs and services to students, adults and their families.The line-up for the comedy show which starts at 7:30 p.m. includes comedians Vice Carone, Ken Garr, Jim Flannigan, Joe Fernandez, Lucky Luciano, Ethan Peldo, Nile Dean, Marci Deloney, Dan Ronan, Joseph Castro and Ricky Carmona.Tickets are $20 and are available from the participating organizations or at the door at Joe’s Bar on the night of the event.Doors @ 6 PMComedy Show @ 7:30 PMLive music by Caribica @ 8 PM
