Revel in a beloved holiday and honor those who have come before us at Una Noche de Muertos: A Day of the Dead Celebration. The Erie Associate Board is excited to host this one-night engagement to raise support for our READS literacy program for children in grades 1-3 in the Little Village community, an initiative that last year helped 96 percent of its students advance an entire grade level in reading.

Our friends at the National Museum of Mexican Art are opening their gallery to offer you a private viewing of Tilica y flaca es la calaca: Day of the Dead, a special exhibition inspired by el Día de los Muertos that explores themes of continuity and identity through fine and folk art. The gallery also features Placemaking & Landmarks: The Creation of Mexican Spaces in la Dieciocho (Pilsen) and Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity.

Ages 21 and up only, please.

Come enjoy food and drink, live music, fine art and a evening of festivities courtesy of the Erie Associate Board and guarantee your Day of the Dead experience will be one to remember.
