Curumin (aka Luciano Nakata Albuquerque) is one of the fastest growing Brazilian artists on the international scene. Born in Brazil to Spanish/Japanese parents, Curumin proved to be a musical prodigy who by 14 was performing as a percussionist in Sao Paolo's top clubs. His musical upbringing embraced popular Brazilian music, funk and Hip-Hop and resulted in his very own super funky Brazilian style. Brazilian Percussion will be offered in the Thursday Workshop Series on January 29th.
